What happens when two handsome hunks fall in love with the same girl? A love triangle, you would say, right? A zany comedy, says David Dhawan.
When Samir (Salman Khan) falls head over heels in love with lovely Rani (Priyanka Chopra), little does he know that his happiness is soon going to be sabotaged.
And the culprit is none other than his newly acquired flat mate Sunny (Akshay Kumar) who has also fallen for Rani. Now begin the fun and game in earnest.
Both the Romeos try desperate measures to win their ladylove. As luck would have it, whatever right Samir does goes spectacularly wrong and whatever wrong Sunny does comes out absolutely right!
Adding to the mayhem are Rani's strict army-officer father (Amrish Puri), Samir's best friend and astrologer (Rajpal Yadav) and resident snoozer (Satish Shah). |

The Room mate from Hades |

I am NOT a fan of Salman Khan, but this is clearly his best film. He plays a man with a rotten temper who inherits a roommate from Hades. Akshay plays the roommate who does everything to spoil Salman's relationship with Priyanka Chopra, with hilarious results. The ending is great as well. A must see Bollywood comedy. |

The movie is what movies should be. I go to the movies to see action and laughter and that is what I got from this one. Salman Khan look rejuvenated and Akshay Kumar is himself. Seems like David liked 'Baywatch Hawaiian wedding'. And this time Salman had an excuse to take his upper clothes off. |

Mujhse Shaadi Karogi falls in the same league as David Dhawan's earlier films. The movie offers enough to satiate the appetite of those looking for masala entertainment. Stylishly shot at some panoramic locales of Mauritius, with no double entendres, the film proves yet again that only David can pull off such stories without the cinegoer feeling cheated by an obscure plot.
The focus is to entertain, not to enlighten or educate, where logic takes a backseat and all that matters are two-and-a-half hours of pure entertainment. In that respect, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi scores quite high.
Leave behind your thinking caps at home before watching this movie and you'll enjoy this joy ride all the more! |
